Well-made Dog Den, good for dogs up to 110 pounds.
Guaranteed Insulation: Our Dog Den 2 has over one-fourth more insulating foam built into the ceiling and floor of every doghouse. It is better than any commercial doghouse available on the market today. Our design uses a full inch of foam in the ceiling, and the wall and floor each have ¾" of foam built in. This heavy-duty doghouse will keep your dog dry, warm, and comfortable wherever you live.
Hound Heater: The Hound Heater Pet House Furnace can dramatically warm the temperature inside the Dog Den up to 70 degrees. This wall-mounted heater costs an additional $99.95 (included in the product price shown above) and will keep your dog warm and comfortable in the coldest climate areas. When the wall-mounted heater is installed properly, it is safe for pets. The 150-watt Hound Heater comes with a one-year manufacturer’s guarantee. The heater is easy to install with a Dog Den ordered with K-9 Kondo. We will predrill the mounting holds and provide easy-to-use attachment hardware.
Exterior Wall is UV-Protected: The UV-protected extreior wall and interior vinyl wall are washable which makes them easy to disinfect and clean.
Washable Detachable Lid: The doghouse lid detaches easily which makes cleaning a breeze. Changing bedding is easy and convenient.
Well-Made and Chew-Proof: The commercial-grade materials used in the Dog Den and dog flap are chew-proof.
Dog Den 2 Size: The regular Dog Den measures 34" long x 22" wide x 22" high.
Thick Door Lip: The door lip is 4.5" high. This ensures that your dog bedding stays where it belongs.
Heavy-Duty Dog Flap “Kennel Door”: The heavy-duty kennel door is unique in that it swings both ways. It also locks in the open position to enable ventilation in the summer. This durable dog flap is designed to be water-proof, wind-resistant, and chew-proof.
Tough and Lightweight: This heavy-duty doghouse is made of high-quality commercial-grade materials and only weighs 55 pounds.
Easy Assembly: The Dog Den 2 comes 90% factory assembled and requires less than 30 minutes for completion using common household tools.
5-Year Guarantee: Check out our five-year limited warranty that guarantees replacement for any part due to chewing or failure.
2 x 4 supports not included.

I have two Dog Den 2s with Hound Heaters and one Dog Den 3 with Hound Heater. My hunting partner has two Dog Den 2s with Hound Heaters. We are 100% satisfied! These units are truly chew-proof and well insulated. Our oldest Dog Dens are 7 years old and are still in great shape. We would strongly recommend these dog houses to friends.

The condo was very easy to put together, but the door took a lot of adjusting to get it to swing freely. It's the third I have purchased, they work great.
I bought this product because it said made in the USA. Even bragged to my friends about supporting US jobs. To my dismay, the heater that came with it had made in China stamped all over it. Had I known, I would not of bought the heater.
Find a US supplier and keep our folks working
K-9 Kondo response:
Finding a US supplier for a product like the Hound Heater would be great. The problem is that there are none. The fellow who sells the Hound Heater approached more than a dozen American manufactures about producing the unit. Only one of the manufacturers even bothered to reply. The one price quoted to produce the Hound Heater was well over $100.00 wholesale. With the projected cost of production, packaging, insurance, etc. the Hound Heater in it's current form would be priced at over $200.00. How many people would buy a dog house heater for $200.00 or more? The fellow who owns the heater company is a very good guy. I have found him to be honest and he made things right when a couple of units were deficient. As much as he would like to produce them here he just can't do it and compete in the market place.
I am very fortunate to be able to manufacture my products in my own facility. The steel comes from US sources only and the plastic is made by a recycling company only 100 miles from my factory.
I apologize for not pointing out that the heater is imported by an American company. My web site will soon indicate that the product is not of US origin. Thanks for being a customer and for pointing out your concerns.

Product shipped promptly; arrived in good condition; quality, fit & finish is outstanding. In comparison to others that sell for nearly as much or grater, this item tops them all.

I bought two of the large K9 Kondos less then 3 years ago. I spend over $800.00 for both with the belief that they would LAST...... Well im here less then 3 years later and they need to be replaced. I called the company and they said they were chew proof NOT rust proof. Yes my do pee's on his house and the rust was caused by the urine. K9 Kondo's warranty isnt worth a darn and they wound not help out with replacement. So with that said DO NOT BUY K9 Kondo's if your dog pee's because it will rust and the $400.00 dog house will be USELESS!!!!
******K-9 KONDO RESPONSE******
There are a number of issues in the customers review that I wish to address.
Total cost of the customers two orders was $646.80. Not "over $800" as stated. The most expensive unit we now sell costs $264.95 + $65.00 S&H (total $329.95) not $400.00. The customer was offered replacement parts at cost but declined the offer.
We are quite clear in pointing out on our web site, both in the Question/Answer page and the written warranty that chronic exposure to urine will cause steel parts to rust. We also point out how to easily prevent it by coating the parts with bed liner or paint. Aluminum will also corrode when exposed to urine and none of the dog house manufacturers using it will warranty corroded parts.
So if our warranty "isn't worth a darn" then it still is better than our competitors who offer no written warranty at all. We strive to please all of our customers by building a quality product and being forthright in our dealings with customers. Despite the customers assertions we have met that standard.
