When you have a large breed dog or you need a whelping box, the Dog Den 3 is exactly what you need. It offers the same comfort and quality of every one of our popular doghouse products. It is larger and taller than our other Dog Den doghouse models. K-9 Kondo doghouses are loved by gun dog and bird dog owners as well as many kennel owners and breeders.
Excellent Insulation: The wall, floor, and ceiling offer 27% more insulation than any other manufactured doghouse. With a full inch of insulating foam built into the ceiling and ¾" of foam in between two plastic layers on both the wall and floor, this heavy-duty doghouse will keep your dog warm.
Heating Option (sold separately or as a combo with this dog den): For only an additional $124.95, check out the Hound Heater Pet House Furnace. This convenient doghouse heating option can increase the Dog Den temperature by as much as 70 degrees. Visit our Dog Den 3 with Hound Heater product page and add it to your cart!
Rust Resistant: The zinc-plated steel panels prevent damage caused by dogs. The material is not only rust-resistant and chew-proof, it is easy to clean and disinfect.
Removable Top: The lid located on top of the doghouse is removed very easily. This makes for efficient and convenient cleaning and dog bed maintenance. The top can be locked with a padlock.
Resistant Against Chewing: The materials we have selected for each of our Dog Dens are heavy duty and hold up to chewing. Even the most abusive dog can’t hurt the Dog Den.
Roomy: The large Dog Den 3 is great for multiple dogs or whelping puppies. The large Dog Den measures 34" long x 34" wide x 24" high.
6" Door Lip: This door lip will keep bedding inside better than any competitor.
Popular Kennel Door: This heavy-duty kennel door swings both ways and stops rain and wind. There are no chewable flaps on this trademarked kennel door.
Strong and Lightweight: This large Dog Den weighs only 85 pounds and supports weights up to 400 pounds.

We and our dog are very pleased with the K-9Kondo. I only gave it 4 stars due to the assembly instructions. I advise you to order already assembled.

The Dog Den 3 is the last dog house I will ever buy! I have 2 boxers (Jabba & Deuce) and they just LOVE IT! Deuce is 8 months and is a chewer! He can't and has not been able to damage this house. Totally indestructable by dog standards. I love this product and recommend this to anyone looking for the ultimate dog house.

Great product. Pricey but worth it. My only suggestion is that if your dog likes to sleep strecth out and not curled up, go with the bigger dog den. My 70 lb dog doesn't curl up when he sleeps, so the dog den 3 is perfect for him. Installation is pretty straight foward. Better to have another person around to help. Lots of riveting. Expect to spend between 2-3 hrs with installation.

I live in North Carolina and share interests in upland hunting with my daughter in northern California. I was and am most pleased with my Dog Den 3; and, when she was ready to get her second labrador, I offered to have one sent to her. I offered to help her with photographs and memories of my assembly experience. She found the directions straight forward and - she was the one sending the pictures. Her dog loves the house.
