The Dog Den Is Back!
Dog Dens are currently shipping in APPROXIMATELY ONE WEEK (or less) from order date. Lead time is subject to change based on demand.
The external dimensions of the Dog Den 2 are roughly 24" tall by 24" deep by 34" long with a shipping weight of 58 pounds. We recommend the Dog Den 2 for dogs weighing 80-90 pounds or less. The roof, walls and floor are insulated with 1" insulation in the roof/lid, 3/4" insulation in the walls and 1/2" insulation in the floor. The lid is attached with latches on each end for easy removal and access to the inside of the dog house. The floor liner is removable which simplifies cleaning out old bedding and debris.
The lid, floor, floor liner, door/cowl and trim are all made of galvanized steel with the walls made of UV treated plastic. These are the same construction materials that K-9 Kondo has been using to produce the Dog Den 2 since the late 1990's, many of those Dog Dens are still in use today. If you are looking for a dog house that is built to last look no further than the Dog Den 2.
Please Note: Due to shipping requirements, some minor assembly is required including attaching the lid latches in pre-drilled holes and attaching the door. I bought a Dog Den about 12 years ago, because I needed a chew-proof doghouse for my new pup. It came with a heater which I never used because the pup chewed off the cord. That doghouse is still in service. The pup is now 12 years old and gets the new Dog Den 2, which is everything I expected. Great product.

No one makes a better dog house. I have one that is nearly 30 years old and is still maintenance free. I belong to a large hunt club in Oklahoma and made many trips looking at other guys’ kennels and dog houses. I was looking for a reason to switch. I could not find one. These houses are durable, chew and scratch proof, warm (I no longer use bedding except for a rubber horse mat cut to fit) and even look amazing in the kennel. I have 6 now and would not own anything else. Well worth the price

I bought my first Dog Den over 30 years ago and still have a couple that are still functional. I recently replaced one with the newest model and I could not be happier. The new ownership has made some improvements that are great. I especially like the locking mechanism for the top. I ordered a Hound Heater with this recent purchase and they drilled the holes, making the attachment easy. I highly recommend their dog houses to anyone looking for quality, functionality and durability. A truly great product for a fair price.
