NOTICE REGARDING BARRELS

K-9 Kondo has stopped selling barrels due to shipping costs. It is much cheaper for customers to source their own barrels locally. However, if you can't or don't wish to source your own barrel and are willing to pay shipping we can help. Just give us a call. Good quality used 55-gallon plastic barrels cans be routinely obtained from local car washes, cleaners or farm supply stores. Barrels with a minimum bottom diameter of 21 inches are required and can have a maximum diameter of up to 24 inches for the K-9 Kondo doghouse kit. Barrels smaller than 55 gallons or of steel construction will not work with the K-9 Kondo kit. A little bit of searching will save you a lot of money while still providing your dog with a comfortable, yet indestructible animal shelter.

K-9 Kondo saved dogs' lives during tornado

I am almost ready to order some more K-9 Kondos, and while I was on your website, I got to thinking about how your products actually saved the lives of a number of very expensive and greatly loved dogs. In June 2003, we had a tornado rip our place apart, including taking out our kennels. As you can see from the picture, if it had not been for the K-9 Kondos, the dogs would have been smashed by the weight of the heavy kennel panels when they folded up in the wind. The ultimate insurance claim was reduced by several thousand dollars. Thanks for the great product. I looked at every dog house on the market when I built my 20-run kennel. I needed a shelter that was winter warm, affordable, durable, and from a company that stands behind its product.
