NOTICE REGARDING BARRELS
Barrels and plywood decks not included.
K-9 Kondo has stopped selling barrels due to shipping costs. It is much cheaper for customers to source their own barrels locally. However, if you can't or don't wish to source your own barrel and are willing to pay shipping we can help. Just give us a call. Good quality used 55-gallon plastic barrels cans be routinely obtained from local car washes, cleaners or farm supply stores. Barrels with a minimum bottom diameter of 21 inches are required and can have a maximum diameter of up to 24 inches for the K-9 Kondo doghouse kit. Barrels smaller than 55 gallons or of steel construction will not work with the K-9 Kondo kit. A little bit of searching will save you a lot of money while still providing your dog with a comfortable, yet indestructible animal shelter.

Purchased the Dog Den 2. Ordered on Wednesday and received it on Saturday! I am all the way across the country, that's great service! Came in a sturdy cardboard box. Easy to take out and assemble (very little assembly). My German Shorthair is already hanging out in it. Very well made and looks like it will last for a very long time. Thanks for making a great product!

The build of the kit takes a lot longer than I was anticipating, but the product is great once it's put together. It was helpful to have the videos that help tech your dog how to come in and out of the house. After that, my dog has really taken to it!

I have 4 barrel kondos, 2 tied together by a full sheet of plywood for a sundeck each. Am down to only 2 dogs now, but these are still the best dog houses! Have had my 4 for ~10+ yrs. Just made 2 more singles...for my daughters' dogs as they've moved away.
Instructions ARE a little cryptic. Especially as it regards screws. Needs a diagram of screw inventory, to ease that process. And longest screws don't work with 3/4 ply board for sun decks, but easily remedied with a quick trip to the lumber yard!
Will always house my dogs in K-9 Kondos!
