NOTICE REGARDING BARRELS
Barrels and plywood decks not included.
K-9 Kondo has stopped selling barrels due to shipping costs. It is much cheaper for customers to source their own barrels locally. However, if you can't or don't wish to source your own barrel and are willing to pay shipping we can help. Just give us a call. Good quality used 55-gallon plastic barrels cans be routinely obtained from local car washes, cleaners or farm supply stores. Barrels with a minimum bottom diameter of 21 inches are required and can have a maximum diameter of up to 24 inches for the K-9 Kondo doghouse kit. Barrels smaller than 55 gallons or of steel construction will not work with the K-9 Kondo kit. A little bit of searching will save you a lot of money while still providing your dog with a comfortable, yet indestructible animal shelter.

Great but missing pieces

I am completely happy with the product but had parts missing when it was delivered. The two leg braces were not with the kit but with a phone call they were quickly sent out to me, thank you! Also at the end didn't have enough of the nuts and bolts for the door cowling.

Good product but not for large dog

This is a good product and it is unsual and welcomed to purchase from a company that takes pride in providing a good product with good directions and helpful suggestions. Plus, it is made in America and I am all for that. I bought two for my German Shepherds. My female workingline dog loves it, but the 55 gal drum is too small for my male. I would say if you have an average size lab or hunting dog it will work wonderful, bigger dogs, not so much.

This product is absolutely a must for German Shorthaired Pointer owners. They are indestructible. I have had several of the big chain dog houses and each one has met it's demise from my GSP's. They literally chew the front right out of them. Not going to happen with a K-9 Kondo. The dogs love them and so do I. I even enjoyed putting it together.
