Our 1/8" drill bits are not required for assembly of the Dog Den 2, however you will need a drill bit if you choose to attach the latches with rivets.  The latch locations are pre-drilled on the Dog Den 2 using a smaller diameter hole in the event that you choose to attach the latches with screws.  To use rivets rather than screws (both are included) the pre-drilled holes must be enlarged to 1/8".
