To difficult to keep working properly

The rubber bushings wear out and damage is caused to the sheet metal after dogs go barging through for a couple years doors begin to stick and not function freely but yes the doors are chew proof. When I called for assistance on a matter I wasn't treated properly sad but my limited knowledge in carpentry has me married to this product.
Joe's Response:
Car tires wear out based upon the amount of use. Our bushings are just like car tires and if worn out the door will not function properly. Would you drive on the rims if the tires were shot? We could use a metal bushing which would last longer but they will not conform to the curve in door cowl. The reason we don't use a fixed axis metal bushing is that we want the door to be able to move upward in a slot to prevent a long tailed dog from having their tail caught between the door and the surrounding opening. If I came off as not being helpful it was not because I didn't try to help. Sometimes I receive building questions which are very difficult to answer without knowing exactly what the customer wants or being able to see what they are wanting to do, especially on carpentry advise. One thing I do know is that I was not rude and did not refuse to help.

was very pleased with the doors although i didnt recieve the lock out plate for the backside.
We are pleased that you like your Kennel Doors but the "Closure Panels" are an optional purchase.

I've bought two of these now. The first one was a little tricky to get it hung so the door didn't rub on the frame but the second one was a breeze.

You can't go wrong with this one. this is the 5 door I have bought. hard to look at other doors. the four original ones I purchased are 20+ years old
